Begin at trezor.io/start
When you land on trezor.io/start, you enter the official setup portal for Trezor hardware wallets. Choose your model, download the Trezor Suite app (desktop or web), and verify the address begins with https://trezor.io to avoid fake sites .
Download & Install
Grab the correct installer for Windows, macOS, Linux—or mobile via OTG/cable . Run it and launch the app. The interface will prompt you to connect your Trezor device.
Connect & Unlock
Plug in your Trezor (USB‑A for Model One, USB‑C for Model T), then click “Connect Device” in Suite . Enter your PIN using the randomized grid on the hardware so malware can’t intercept keystrokes .
Firmware & Genuine Check
Suite performs an automatic firmware update if needed, followed by a genuine‑device check. If it fails, stop and reach out to support .
Access Dashboard
Once unlocked, you’ll see your portfolio, balances, accounts, and options to send, receive, stake, or swap crypto .
Logging Out & Security
When finished, click the user/icon in Suite to disconnect or manually log out . You can also set Suite to auto‑lock after inactivity. Always physically unplug your Trezor once logged out .
